About Sophia..

I am devoted to bridging inner listening with outer expression - creating spaces where the body can be heard, and where creativity becomes a pathway to deeper awareness and transformation.

At the heart of my work is a longing for authenticity and creative freedom. I weave together somatic practices, expressive arts, and insights from both ancient traditions and modern psychology to support gentle, trauma-informed journeys of self-discovery.

Through somatic movement, creative writing, art-making, and relational practices, I invite people to reconnect with their inner worlds and meet themselves as they are, so they can listen more deeply, feel more fully, and express what is often left unspoken. This work is about returning to the body as a source of wisdom, imagination, and healing.

My approach is rooted in my training with the Tamalpa Life/Art Process (Somatic Therapy and Expressive Arts), a foundation in Body Psychotherapy, Yoga Teacher Training, and studies in Subtle Bodywork, Authentic Movement, Reiki, and Qi Gong. I also hold an MA in Social Anthropology, all of which have shaped my understanding of embodiment, healing, and socio-ecological belonging in this wild human experience.

With experience across community arts and mental health spaces, I care deeply about creating inclusive, supportive environments where all parts of a person are welcome. Spaces where we can explore, create, and remember what it means to be fully alive — in connection with ourselves, each other, and the world around us.

WHAT DO I OFFER?

Creative Writing Classes

my Creative Writing classes offer a gentle and inspiring space to explore your inner world through words. Rooted in a somatic and expressive approach, they invite you to write from feeling, memory, and imagination.

Through guided prompts, sensory explorations, and moments of reflection, you’ll be supported to move beyond self-judgement and into authentic expression. There is no pressure to be “good” at writing — only an openness to listen and discover.

These sessions are an invitation to uncover the stories within you, let go of judgement and give voice to what longs to be expressed, and to experience writing as a practice of connection, creativity, and self-awareness.

Embodied Arts Class

Blending therapeutic and artistic approaches, these Embodied Arts sessions integrate somatics, movement, creative writing, and art-making to support deep exploration and expression.

You are invited to connect with the body as a source of insight and creativity — to move, feel, and create from within, allowing the body to gently lead.

Through movement, writing, mark-making and guided creative practices, these sessions open a space to explore your inner world and express whatever wants to be expressed — there is no right way to move or create.

This work nurtures body awareness, imagination, and emotional expression, supporting a deeper sense of aliveness, connection, and creative freedom.

1:1 Tailored Healing Arts

These sessions offer a supportive, personalised space for deep listening, exploration, and care. Guided by your unique needs and intentions, we might explore somatic listening, creative expression, bodywork, and energy work.

This is a space to slow down and reconnect — with your body, your inner world, and what is asking for attention. Together, we follow what emerges, supporting the gentle processing and integration of lived experience in a way that feels safe and resourced.

Sessions may include hands-on bodywork, subtle body practices, and creative modalities such as movement, writing, or art-making — supporting both deep rest and expressive integration.

Rooted in a trauma-informed approach, this work supports nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and a deepened sense of presence and connection. You are met exactly where you are, in a space where all parts of you are welcome.
